Dr. Richardson

Prior to her pursuit of a dental education, Dr. Richardson enjoyed being a Research and Development Scientist for Sigma Chemical Company in the department of immunology. In 2004, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. She then completed her 3-year Periodontal Residency at Saint Louis University in 2007, while also working in private practice. After performing 2 years of research, she defended her thesis and was granted a Masters of Dentistry degree from Saint Louis University.

Dr Richardson has served as a course director for several clinical and didactic courses at Missouri College in the Dental Assisting Program. In addition, she also served as Adjunct Faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in the department of Periodontology and Colorado University in the department of Graduate Periodontics. Dr. Richardson has been recognized by the American Dental Association for her excellence in leadership while being the head doctor of a humanitarian dental clinic in Jamaica for several years. She has served several other humanitarian efforts such as Give Kids A Smile.

Currently

Dr. Richardson enjoys full-time practice in Denver Colorado limited to periodontal management and dental implant therapy. She is very active in the dental community in educating herself, fellow dentists, and hygienists in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Richardson is both locally and nationally a member of many societies and study clubs as well as being an ambassador to the Metro Denver Dental Society. Dr. Richardson achieved her status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2007. She has over 12 years of clinical experience.

In her free time she enjoys anything outdoors with her friends, family, and two dogs. She has enjoyed the challenge of many athletic adventures including hiking 14ers, ironman triathlons, marathons, and the warrior dash. Dr Richardson is known most for her gentle and nurturing compassion for people and animals.
